Of course, Distiller is still available to convert PostScript files into PDFs, if necessary, but directly exporting PDF files is the recommended method of creating PDF files. Today InDesign can directly generate PDF files without the need for Distiller. Navigate to the location where you wish to save the file, select Adobe PDF (Print) from the Save As Type menu, and click Save It is always good practice to check with your print provider to verify their requirements. If the problem recurs, contact the developer of the plug-in you last moved, to inquire about an update InDesign provides color-management tools when creating the PDF. If the problem does not recur, repeat steps 3 and 4, adding some third-party plug-ins back to the Plug-Ins folder.
Restart InDesign and try to reproduce the problem. Or click OK to continue with the current settings To avoid color appearance changes in the PDF, click Cancel and change either the document's transparency blend space, or the destination color space. The document's transparency blend space doesn't match the destination color space specified in the Export Adobe PDF settings. When I had the Indesign Book open, I would export it to PDF and you could tell all the blacks were dark grey
